No Sanctuary for Hope

I planned on staying for three months. I stayed for three weeks.
Within those three weeks belongings where damaged, artwork was mistreated, a computer was defecated upon by uncaged pigeons, the fish tank spouted water like a fresh geyser, the house almost burnt down (again).
I was faced with the eternal question; "Is anything so precious?"
What was precious to me was a warm private bathroom, a working kitchen and a comfortable place to sleep. So I moved.
I love this place because it allows me to present myself completely. Not just a performer, not just a photographer, not just a promoter, not just a person, but all, inter-woven without bias.
This is a place where I am challenged to be more than who I think I am and to reach further than I've dreamt I could.
That is why I feel blessed to be apart of The Sanctuary of Hope.
